May's meeting will be held in the Beecher Room of the Auburn Library starting promptly at 6:30 PM.  This meeting is a Critique Session. Club members can submit up to three digital images.  Images can be submitted in the standard categories and/or the assigned subject "Statues, Flags & Symbols".  Images will be critiqued by Jeff Burkholder.  Jeff is a commercial photographer based in Sacramento.

June's meeting focuses on print critiques.  Up to 3 prints can be submited by club members.  Prints should be at least 8x10 inches in size.  Prints should be matted or framed; a matted print is preferable as it makes for easier display in our clubs lightbox. The judge will be added to this announcement when this information is supplied to the webmaster. 

Photo critiques will include the following categories: Travel, Landscape, Wild Nature, Open, and Photo Journalism.

March's meeting focuses on projected image critiques.  The judge will be added to this announcement when this information is supplied to the webmaster. 

Image critiques will include the usual categories, plus a new Theme category.  This months theme is "bottles".  Club members can submit up to 3 images.  The 3 images can be entered in any category(s).  Member submissions must be entered via email prior to Tuesday, April 18th (send to This email address is being protected from spambots. March's meeting focuses on projected image critiques.  The judge will be Tony Hallas. Tony is a club member, and has been a judge for 30 years. He also ran his own color photo lab for 20 years, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brooks Institute. Tony's particular fascination is... "what makes a photo become art?". Tony will share with us his knowledge about composition and photographic processing.

December's club meeting is our Christmas meeting, and will feature photo slideshows by club members and a variety of cookies, candy, and snacks at the intermission.  It will also include a viewing session of theme based images.  December's theme is YELLOW.  Members can submit one digital image for this viewing.

November's club meeting will include a photo critique session of printed photos. Members can bring up to three prints to the meeting.  They should be 8x10 inches or larger in size.  It is highly recommended that they be matted; framed prints are also also acceptable.  Prints can be submitted in any of 5 categories: Open, Travel, Nature, Landscape, and Photo Journalism.  The Nature category is only for Wild Nature (domestic nature shots can be submitted in the Open category).

This meeting will also include a review of theme images.  One (and only one) digital image may be submitted by club members.  The theme for this entry is YELLOW.
