May's meeting will be held in the Beecher Room of the Auburn Library starting promptly at 6:30 PM. This meeting is a Critique Session. Club members can submit up to three digital images. Images can be submitted in the standard categories and/or the assigned subject "Statues, Flags & Symbols". Images will be critiqued by Jeff Burkholder. Jeff is a commercial photographer based in Sacramento.

June's meeting focuses on print critiques. Up to 3 prints can be submited by club members. Prints should be at least 8x10 inches in size. Prints should be matted or framed; a matted print is preferable as it makes for easier display in our clubs lightbox. The judge will be added to this announcement when this information is supplied to the webmaster.
Photo critiques will include the following categories: Travel, Landscape, Wild Nature, Open, and Photo Journalism.

He also ran his own color photo lab for 20 years, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brooks Institute. Tony's particular fascination is... "what makes a photo become art?". Tony will share with us his knowledge about composition and photographic processing.

It is highly recommended that they be matted; framed prints are also also acceptable. Prints can be submitted in any of 5 categories: Open, Travel, Nature, Landscape, and Photo Journalism. The Nature category is only for Wild Nature (domestic nature shots can be submitted in the Open category).
